DEER HUNTING
AT ALLAGASH WILDERNESS
Maine State Record Book (Buck 232 lbs.)
| Perfect week (6 hunters got 6 bucks 1997)
| Two of these bucks made the Maine State record book- 248 and 252 lbs. dressed out weight
| One of these bucks is another Maine State record book holder - 222 lbs. dressed-out weight
|
The Allagash Wilderness provides some record book bucks, with 250lbs. not being uncommon. Deer hunting is by no means easy, and requires a good deal of patience, along with the ability to cover great distances or maintain a stand. We have the ability to obtain one of these whitetail trophies for the motivated hunter, who will find it a rewarding experience.
Both of these bucks made the Maine State record book 265lbs. - 260 lbs. dressed
| Our largest buck taken in 2002. 8 pointer-238 lbs. dressed It scored 150 in the Maine State record book
